Prestige is Sydney’s multi-award-winning driving school. Our Lane Cove West instructors pick you up from home, school or work across Lane Cove West, East Ryde, Lane Cove North, Riverview, Lane Cove and Linley Point, 7 days a week from 8 am to 7:30 pm.
Lane Cove West learners get to practise on roads like Epping Road. Your instructor starts you on quieter residential streets, then builds up to busier roads, intersections and lane changes at your own pace.
Lane Cove West learners usually sit their driving test at Service NSW Chatswood or Service NSW Ryde. In your final lessons we practise around the test centre you book and the manoeuvres testing officers look for.

Prestige Driving School is an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.
If you’re under 25 and have logged at least 50 hours of driving, including at least 10 hours at night (bonus hours don’t count), the course gives you a 20-hour credit in your log book. It has two modules: a 3-hour facilitated group discussion and 2 hours of in-vehicle coaching.
The nearest test centres are Service NSW Chatswood, 313 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood, and Service NSW Ryde, Macquarie Shopping Centre, corner of Herring Road and Waterloo Road, North Ryde. Driving tests are by appointment.
Yes. Our instructors pick you up and drop you off anywhere across Lane Cove West, including East Ryde, Lane Cove North, Riverview, Lane Cove and Linley Point. You can choose a different pick-up and drop-off address for each lesson.
Yes. Our Driving Test Package includes a pick-up 75 minutes before your test, a one-hour warm-up lesson around your test centre, use of our dual-control car for the test and a drop-off afterwards.
Yes. We also teach in East Ryde, Lane Cove North, Riverview, Lane Cove, Linley Point, Chatswood West, Longueville and Hunters Hill, and in suburbs right across Sydney.
No. All our lessons are in automatic cars. If you pass your test in an automatic, your P1 licence will have an automatic-only condition.
