Prestige is Sydney’s multi-award-winning driving school. Our Matraville instructors pick you up from home, school or work across Matraville, Hillsdale, Chifley, Malabar, Eastgardens and Phillip Bay, 7 days a week from 8 am to 7:30 pm.
Learning to drive in Matraville means getting comfortable on roads like Bunnerong Road. Your instructor builds your skills step by step, from quiet local streets to busy intersections, merging and lane changes.
Matraville learners usually sit their driving test at Service NSW Eastgardens or Service NSW Botany. In your final lessons we practise around the test centre you book and the manoeuvres testing officers look for.

Prestige Driving School is an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.
If you’re under 25 and have logged at least 50 hours of driving, including at least 10 hours at night (bonus hours don’t count), the course gives you a 20-hour credit in your log book. It has two modules: a 3-hour facilitated group discussion and 2 hours of in-vehicle coaching.
The nearest test centres are Service NSW Eastgardens, Westfield Eastgardens, 152 Bunnerong Road, Eastgardens, and Service NSW Botany, 5 Lord Street, Botany. Driving tests are by appointment.
Yes. Our instructors pick you up and drop you off anywhere across Matraville, including Hillsdale, Chifley, Malabar, Eastgardens and Phillip Bay. You can choose a different pick-up and drop-off address for each lesson.
Yes. Our Driving Test Package includes a pick-up 75 minutes before your test, a one-hour warm-up lesson around your test centre, use of our dual-control car for the test and a drop-off afterwards.
Yes. We also teach in Hillsdale, Chifley, Malabar, Eastgardens, Phillip Bay, Port Botany, Maroubra and Banksmeadow, and in suburbs right across Sydney.
No. All our lessons are in automatic cars. If you pass your test in an automatic, your P1 licence will have an automatic-only condition.
