Prestige is Sydney’s multi-award-winning driving school. Our Ryde instructors pick you up from home, school or work across Ryde, West Ryde, Putney, Meadowbank, Eastwood and North Ryde, 7 days a week from 8 am to 7:30 pm.
Ryde has busy roads like Victoria Road, Lane Cove Road and Devlin Street, with heavy traffic around Top Ryde City and Macquarie Park. Your instructor helps you handle multi-lane roads, lane changes and busy intersections, starting on quieter residential streets first.
Ryde learners can sit their driving test at Service NSW Ryde, in Macquarie Shopping Centre, North Ryde. In your final lessons we practise in the streets around the centre and the manoeuvres testing officers look for.

Prestige Driving School is an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.
If you’re under 25 and have logged at least 50 hours of driving, including at least 10 hours at night (bonus hours don’t count), the course gives you a 20-hour credit in your log book. It has two modules: a 3-hour facilitated group discussion and 2 hours of in-vehicle coaching.
Service NSW Ryde, Level 0, Shop UC 5/6, Macquarie Shopping Centre, corner of Herring Road and Waterloo Road, North Ryde. Driving tests there are by appointment.
Yes. Our instructors pick you up and drop you off anywhere across Ryde, including West Ryde, Putney, Meadowbank, Eastwood and North Ryde. You can choose a different pick-up and drop-off address for each lesson.
Yes. Our Driving Test Package includes a pick-up 75 minutes before your test, a one-hour warm-up lesson around Service NSW Ryde, use of our dual-control car for the test and a drop-off afterwards.
Yes. We also teach in West Ryde, Putney, Meadowbank, Eastwood, North Ryde, Gladesville, Denistone and Macquarie Park, and in suburbs right across Sydney.
No. All our lessons are in automatic cars. If you pass your test in an automatic, your P1 licence will have an automatic-only condition.
