Prestige is Sydney’s multi-award-winning driving school. Our North Ryde instructors pick you up from home, school or work across North Ryde, Macquarie Park, East Ryde, Ryde, Denistone East and Marsfield, 7 days a week from 8 am to 7:30 pm.
Learning to drive in North Ryde means getting comfortable on roads like the M2 Hills Motorway, the Warringah Freeway and Lane Cove Road, plus the traffic around File:North Ryde station. Your instructor builds your skills step by step, from quiet local streets to busy intersections, merging and lane changes.
North Ryde learners usually sit their driving test at Service NSW Ryde, Macquarie Shopping Centre, corner of Herring Road and Waterloo Road, North Ryde. In your final lessons we practise in the streets around the centre and the manoeuvres testing officers look for.

Prestige Driving School is an accredited provider of the Transport for NSW Safer Drivers Course.
If you’re under 25 and have logged at least 50 hours of driving, including at least 10 hours at night (bonus hours don’t count), the course gives you a 20-hour credit in your log book. It has two modules: a 3-hour facilitated group discussion and 2 hours of in-vehicle coaching.

Yes. Our instructors pick you up and drop you off anywhere across North Ryde, including Macquarie Park, East Ryde, Ryde, Denistone East and Marsfield. You can choose a different pick-up and drop-off address for each lesson.
Yes. Our Driving Test Package includes a pick-up 75 minutes before your test, a one-hour warm-up lesson around Service NSW Ryde, use of our dual-control car for the test and a drop-off afterwards.
Yes. We also teach in Macquarie Park, East Ryde, Ryde, Denistone East, Marsfield, Denistone, Lane Cove West and Chatswood West, and in suburbs right across Sydney.
No. All our lessons are in automatic cars. If you pass your test in an automatic, your P1 licence will have an automatic-only condition.
